The Foodbank of the Virginia Peninsula came to Twelve 24 Design looking for a new web design idea for their Capital Campaign. They wanted to raise $2 million to grow their foodbank as the needs of families continued to rise. We developed this web comp for their campaign and they embraced it fully. The campaign started off with a bang and successfully raised funds to help extend their reach.
People that donate money to causes like to see progress. Additionally, they like to see where the money is going. We added a tracker on the home page that showed every dollar that was raised in real time so that contributors could see how close the campaign was to success. Moreover, the Foodbank also released videos throughout the campaign to indicate just what this money was able to do for the community.
