All merchandise is to be paid in full at the time of purchase with the exception of bridal gowns. All sales are final. A minimum of 60% of the original price of a wedding gown is required at the time of purchase. This deposit is non-refundable. Payment of the balance is due no later than 60 days after the purchase date. At that time Maya Couture will either charge your credit card on file or cash your post-dated check on the date specified. After 60 day balance due date, if your card is declined or your post-dated check does not clear, you have 30 days from your balance due date to pay the remaining balance. If 30 days elapses, and your balance remains unpaid, your bridal gown becomes the property of Maya Couture. We reserve the right to resell the merchandise in any manner necessary to cover costs.
The delivery on a special order bridal gown is 4-6 months. We recommend you order your gown no later than 8 months prior to your wear date, if your schedule allows it. We can order dresses on a rush most of the time. Rush charges are an additional fee and vary with each manufacturer. We will provide you with an expected delivery date on your order via e-mail, within 2 weeks of your purchase date. Please understand that it is not an exact date and may vary due to manufacturer's delays. Our store is not liable for shipping delays or color and fabric variations.
Bridal gowns are not custom made. Your measurements are used along with the manufacturer's size chart to determine the most appropriate size for you. Most dress sizes run smaller than normal clothes. If you choose your own size, Maya Couture will not be responsible for any fit issues and additional tailoring or reconstruction charges that may occur. You will not be able to cancel the order if the gown does not fit you or is unalterable. If you are taller than 5'9", you may need extra length, or if your measurements suggest a size above a 16, additional charges will apply and vary with each manufacturer.
